Figuring Out My Season Of Life

Over the years my life definately has been all over the place. Births, deaths, broken relationships, new paths, figuring out why I was so sick all the time. Right now, I am in an interesting season of my life.

One that I am not used to. Calm, focused and so many things are not part of my life anymore. Believe me this is a good thing. Contentment is something the Lord taught me since 2020. What does that look like to me? So much "JOY." It can be a whole lot different than it looks for others in this world and even in my own family.

Having some things taken from my life through prayer was as huge blessing. Making a personal decision to step away from some things and start over honestly were for the best. I use to see things as a glass half full person. That was very difficult for me. I kept thinking there was always half missing and where was it? Was that glass going to ever be filled to overflowing?

Slowly over the last couple of years the Lord began to open up my eyes to where the rest of emptiness was in my glass. It was in front of me the whole entire time! Talk about a humbling moment in my life.

Part of my problem was that I felt I was not allowed to have my own opinions and the way things were done. It was others ways or the highway. Leaning to love who God made me to be and who I really was made me cry. My hubby started to tell me who I was and I believed him. He is the closest one in my life to know that I am a prayer warrior. Telling you, that is the gift the Lord above has given me. Also, I enjoy serving my Lord by serving others in my special ways.

Once, I began to believe in myself because God made me this way change began to happen. My glass is totally overflowing daily. When things happen in life I feel like a duck with water running over its back. Not being fazed as I once was.

My life is so amazing in Christ! The worries of how or what others think of me is now of no concern. Dosen't even make me cringe. I am me flaws and all.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
