I am the queen of the BBQ in my home. Started labeling myself this over a decade ago. My hubby and purchased a really nice BBQ when he made an amzing outdoor kitchen. I began to learn how to cook at the proper temperatures to get some great results. Of course, there were a few failures along that way. This is how we ALL learn.

Can't even remember where this recipe came from. I do however remember my hubby mentioned something about it and we needed to try it out. How does Jack Daniels Honey BBQ burgers sound? Oh mama!! This is so amazing and really simple to make. It took me about 3 tries to get the right amount of honey and Jack Daniels ratio where I liked it. If you like a stronger taste of alcohol add a bit more.

Jack Daniels Honey BBQ Burgers:

About 1.5 pounds of hamburger meat

Salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder to taste (or whatever other spices you have on hand)

Jack Daniels alcohol

Honey

In a small bowl, add a quick pour of alcohol and 1 large spoonful of honey. Mix well then taste. You can always add more alcohol. In a large bowl add the hamburger and spices. Mix with your hands. Add the Jack Daniels and honey mixture to the meat, mix with your hands well. Make patties then BBQ how you like your burgers.
